The ESR Cyber Tough just has a really nice look to it. I used this case on my AirPods Pro 2 for a year, and it held up really well.
How It Has Held Up
My Cyber Tough case for my AirPods Pro 2 is a year old. It’s been in and out of my pocket hundreds and hundreds of times. So I know an ESR case is going to hold up over time and continue to look good, even after a lot of use.
Magnets for MagSafe and the Gym
It has magnets on the back, so it can guide into a MagSafe charger and hold in place. The magnets are also super useful for attaching your AirPods to something at the gym. Say you’re working out on a piece of equipment. Instead of setting your AirPods on the ground and losing them, or getting them kicked or dirty, you can just magnetically attach the case to whatever steel you’re near. That’s a huge feature, I think, on AirPods cases for me.
Magnets That Hold the Lid Closed
There are extra magnets in the lid and the case, so it holds the lid closed on your AirPods. How many times have you dropped your AirPods case and your AirPods went flying out onto the ground? This is definitely going to protect you from that, because it holds the lid closed with more tension.
This case also comes with a carabiner attachment.
Final Verdict
The ESR Cyber Tough just has a really nice look to it, and the one I used on my AirPods Pro 2 held up really well for a year after being in and out of my pocket hundreds and hundreds of times. The magnets on the back guide it into a MagSafe charger and let you stick your AirPods to whatever steel you're near at the gym, which I think is a huge feature on AirPods cases. The extra magnets in the lid and the case hold the lid closed with more tension, so it's going to protect your AirPods from going flying when you drop it.
