Just cute. It looks like a little Game Boy and gives your AirPods 5 a lot of good protection and style, but it has no magnets for MagSafe or for keeping the lid closed.

Video Review

This little case from Tronwin is just cute. That’s the only word I could give it. It looks like a little Game Boy, and it holds and protects your AirPods 5.

Design

This is simply a protective case. It opens up really easily, giving you access to your AirPods, and when I open it up, the little light shines through so I can see the status of my AirPods. It’s got the cutout for the USB-C port, and of course the microphones and the speaker.

There are a variety of different designs and styles available from this company, too, so check out the link to see the other style options.

Protection

It provides a lot of good protection and style for your AirPods 5, and this is a case that’s definitely going to last quite a while.

What It Doesn’t Have

This particular case doesn’t add any additional functionality. There are no magnets in it on the back for MagSafe compatibility, and no magnets to help keep the case closed.

Installing the Top

The top attaches with adhesive. You peel off the adhesive, then press down to securely attach the lid portion to the lid of your AirPods 5. You could still peel it off later on if you wanted to change to a different case.

The Carabiner

The case also comes with a little carabiner attached to the side. I’m not really a carabiner fan on something like this, so I’d probably just take my knife and trim off that little nub so the case is nice and clean. But if you want to be able to attach your AirPods to something, it comes with one.
