TAC Slim Aramid iPhone 18 Pro Max Case Review
Really classy looking and super thin, perhaps the thinnest case I've looked at so far for the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max. And the magnet is still very strong.

- Camera control button looks like part of the case and is super responsive

I tested 17 cases for the iPhone 18 Pro Max, and two of them were from TAC. This is their slim aramid case, and it’s actually really classy looking.
This case definitely caught me by surprise, just because it’s so clean looking and extremely thin.
Design and Thickness
It’s super thin. I feel like this is maybe one of the thinnest aramid cases that I have seen so far, and it’s perhaps the thinnest case that I’ve looked at so far for the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max.
This is just an impressive case. It’s very nice, it kind of has a polished ring around the camera module, and overall it’s so clean looking.
Raised Integrated Buttons
The buttons are raised, and I love that TAC decided to go with integrated buttons instead of just cutting the space out. It really makes it easy to identify where the buttons are.
A lot of times, cases just cut out that section. When they do, the buttons aren’t exactly recessed, but they’re definitely lower, because the case adds a little bit of thickness to the phone.
Camera Control Button
With the camera control button, I’m used to seeing something that’s much more obviously capacitive. On this case, the button looks like it’s part of the case.
And it works. It was super responsive as I moved through the zoom range and between the different cameras. It works really well.
Magnet Strength
I also tested the magnet strength on this slim case, and it’s a very strong magnet. As I rotated it around, it stayed very strong, and when I shook the phone, it wasn’t going anywhere.
It’s quite impressive that TAC was able to add that much magnet while adding hardly any thickness at all to the phone.
